Alpenflage, also known as TAZ 57 was designed by the Swiss military. It is designed off of the Waffen-SS Leibenmuster camouflage which saw very small uses in WWII. The Swiss used this camouflage from 1957-1993. Soldiers who donned the TAZ 57 called it the Vierfrucht-Pyjama which means four fruit pajamas, in reference to its colorful pattern.
These jackets come with 10 pockets so you have plenty of room for shenanigans, as well as covered elbows to keep you dry. They're also equipped with a large hood containing a sniper viel for when you want to conceal your identity. They are perfect for camouflaging in many American and European forests.
